Accessibility

The FaustForum wants to make access to events as pleasant and easy as possible for all guests.

Users of hearing aids

We are currently still waiting for delivery of the latest AuraGate-WH Auracast system, which will be available shortly. This system complies with the legal obligation and regulation according to UN Article 9 Disability Act and Article 3, BGG §4, VOB Part B §13 and innovation 60118 – 4 Building Law / BFFG Barrier-free Strengthening Act 28.6.2025.

For users of older hearing aids that are not compatible with this system, we offer wearable devices that can be borrowed from reception.

People with walking disabilities and wheelchair users

The entrance is barrier-free, as are the entrances to the hall and the sanitary facilities on the first floor.

There is also an entrance for wheelchair users to the right of the sliding doors. There are 4 wheelchair spaces in the front row of the auditorium with row seating. These can be booked in the ticket system for any event with or without an accompanying person.

There is a separate disabled toilet on the first floor, please follow the signs.

If you need help, please contact reception.

People with visual impairment

You can also visit the FaustForum with a guide dog. However, the choice of seats is limited. Please indicate this when purchasing tickets in order to select a suitable seat with sufficient space for your four-legged friend and report to the reception desk when attending the concert.

  • The entrance is not visually rich in contrast.
  • The house signage is designed in easy-to-read, high-contrast lettering.
  • There are glass doors in the entrance area. These are marked with safety markings.
  • All elevated areas that can be used by guests are well lit, i.e. bright and glare-free.
  • In the elevators, an emergency call is confirmed acoustically.
  • There is no information available in Braille or prismatic writing, except in the elevator.
