The internationally acclaimed pianist Yulianna Avdeeva draws an arc from the forefather Bach to her favorite Romantic composers. The works of Chopin accompany her on her artistic journey to the present day. Her playing is characterized by an extremely lively and poetic style, paired with a grandiose playing technique. Franz Liszt described Chopin’s preludes as poetic strokes of genius and the Pole’s music-historical role model was clearly Bach’s Wohlthemperiertes Klavier — so the circle is complete here.
